Friends of the Library
Who are the Friends of the Library? The Friends of the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library are an organization made up of volunteers who are interested in promoting and supporting the Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library. Membership is available to anyone interested in furthering the development of public library service both locally and state-wide. If you are interested, the Friends of the Library can be reached by mail at: 404 West Pike Street Clarksburg, WV 26301 or by e-mail at friends@clark.lib.wv.us
What do they do? The Friends of the Library raise funds for projects at the library such as: building or grounds projects, children's story hours, exhibits, performances, etc. as well as to purchase materials that are not within the library's annual budget. They also sponsor programs to promote and enrich the cultural opportunities available to the citizens of Clarksburg and Harrison County. Photos from the Friends of the Library Book Sale -May1-3 2008
