Part-Time Vacancy

The Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library has a job opening for a part-time position. It is necessary for each applicant to meet the minimum qualifications.
Title: Library Circulation Attendant I
Location: Clarksburg-Harrison Public Library
                 404 West Pike Street
                 Clarksburg, WV 26301
Salary: Minimum wage
Hours: 12-19 hours per week including nights and weekends.

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To:
--Use a keyboard, mouse and scanner to check library materials in and out.
--Operate a cash register and cash drawer.
--Data entry to issue library cards.
--Shelving library materials.
--Basic arithmetic skills.
--Effectively communicate with customers, both in person and on the phone.
--Assist library customers with accounts.

Skills and Experience:
--Computer competency.
--Move light objects (less than 20lbs) short distances.
--Make continual repetitive arm-hand movements.
--Bend and stoop repeatedly over time.
--Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time.
--Understand oral and written instructions in English.
--High School degree or equivalent.
