What are Lonely Books?

Lonely Books are really great books that no one has read for a while.  Sometimes their covers are not very interesting.  Sometimes they get overlooked because they are not shiny and new.  Sometimes they just don’t catch anyone’s eye.  They are lonely, and just want to share their great stories with someone who will love them back!

How does the club work?

If you sign up to join the Lonely Books Club, all you have to do is read books from the Lonely Books display, for every book you read your name will be placed in a drawing for a prize. Prize drawings will take place at our monthly meetings. Once you have read ten Lonely Books, you will receive a Lonely Books Club t-shirt. And, you can keep reading more Lonely Books to earn  even more prizes!
2010 Meetings: Saturdays Jan. 9th, Feb. 13, Mar. 13, Apr. 10, May 8th. All meetings start at 10am.

How do I join?

Just ask at the Circulation Desk  for a registration sheet and you can get started turning sad, Lonely Books into Happy Books once again!
