In-person service is now available!  As the building reopens, health and safety measures will be in place including: isolating and cleaning returned materials, requiring staff and visitors to wear masks and practice social distancing and providing services with limited or no person-to-person contact. Facility measures include installation of plexiglass and other barriers at service desks, library furniture has been moved or removed to adhere to distancing guidelines, regular cleaning of library spaces, disinfecting supplies and hand sanitizer will be available for staff and patron use, and queuing areas have been clearly marked at service desks for distancing requirements. The library's Quick Pickup service will continue to be available for those who wish to receive materials without person-to-person contact or who simply like the convenience of this grab & go service. For more information on visitor guidelines or scheduling a pick-up time, please call (304) 627-2236.
 

Visitor Guidelines

  • Library Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Entry limited to the rear entrance
  • One hour time limit per visit
  • Capacity is set at 12 visitors at one time
  • Restrooms are closed
  • One family at a time in the Children's and Teen Rooms
  • Notary services available by appointment

These materials and services are not available:

  • Newspapers & magazines
  • Charging outlets
  • Passport services

The following rules will be enforced:

  • Maintain physical distance of six feet at all times
  • Wear a mask
  • Do not return items to shelf after browsing

Computer Guidelines

  • Five computers available; appointments are recommended. Call (304) 627-2236 ext. 116 to schedule an appointment
  • Time limit of one hour
  • Use disinfectant wipes to clean computer workstation
  • Computer assistance will be provided remotely
  • Computers unavailable from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM for cleaning
  • Costs for printing and faxes will be charged to your library account
  • Headphones are not available to borrow.  Earbuds may be purchased for $1.00
